Work Experience 2025

At Nxera Pharma (formerly Sosei Heptares) we are focused on bringing life-changing medicines based on world-class science to patients globally. Using a unique structure-based approach based on our stabilised receptor (NxStaR^®) technology, our research focuses on the discovery of high quality and innovative drug molecules for the treatment of disease.

Our annual work experience programme will provide you will a broad and comprehensive experience, giving a wide exposure to the scientific functions undertaken at Nxera Pharma UK Ltd. We aim to provide an authentic, engaging and challenging experience where you will leave feeling inspired and motivated to continue on your pathway into a career in science.

The length of the work experience programme is one week, but there will be two start dates available during July to participate. We are offering a total of 6 places per week to students post GCSEs/A-Level to undergraduate level, with a keen interest in pursuing science as a career. The placement will take place at our R&D Facilities located on Granta Park, just outside Cambridge.

For 2025 the start dates available for the week-long placement are weeks commencing 7th July and 21st July.
